Job Description

Established organization is seeking a Client Service Manager on a Direct Hire basis in the greater Pasadena, CA area. Pay range $125-150k DOE.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the Client Service team in delivering outstanding service that enhances client satisfaction and strengthens relationships with Investment Counselors and the firm.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing the client experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Operations) to establish and maintain efficient, accurate processes that ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Partner closely with Investment Counselors to provide exceptional support and empower Client Service team members to act in the best interests of clients and colleagues.
  • Oversee the client prospecting and onboarding process, ensuring flawless execution by the Client Service team in support of Investment Counselors.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Client Service team, including staffing, onboarding, performance management, and professional development, to drive organizational success and support career growth.
  • Continuously improve the Client Service experience by leveraging data and innovation to consistently exceed client and colleague expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in client service delivery, demonstrating increasing responsibility and success.
  • Previous supervisory experience in client service and/or financial services is highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant software programs (e.g., Salesforce CRM, Orion, Microsoft Suite).
  • Experience in performance management, coaching, talent development, and skill assessment.
  • Strong ability to influence and motivate, with a proven track record of working effectively across teams and functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, with the ability to oversee and execute multiple concurrent initiatives.
